History comes to life in exciting new ways at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center. See, hear and do history in immersive, interactive experiences, including You Are There: 1945 Hoosier Home Front, INvestigation Stations and the History Lab. Free and open to the public 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays through Jan. 3, 2009.

You Are There: 1945 Hoosier Home Front

You Are There Step back in time through a historic photograph to January, 1945. In this faithfully re-created grocery store setting, costumed interpreters share details of everyday life during World War II. Help run the store, fill orders using a ration book and talk about war-time events. See, hear and touch history because…You Are There.
